A woman who goes by “Rebaillious Roze” and her daughter went to Lasting Impressions Salon Suites on Azalea Road on Saturday to get her and her daughter’s hair done.
Unhappy with her service, Roze said she and the hairstylist got into a dispute over the remaining balance.
“I said, ‘I’m not going to pay you for coming in early because you were late, so why would I pay you for coming in early if you weren’t on time?'” Roze said.
Roze claimed the balance owed was $30, which she didn’t want to pay, so she decided to leave. Once she got in her car, things got messy.
She said to pull out, and the stylist hopped on her car.
“I back up and I go make my little turn,” Roze said. “But of course, I’m not driving crazy because I don’t want her to actually fall off of the car, but it’s like, ‘Where do we draw the line?’ Like, ‘Why are you on my car?’ Like, you had ample enough time when I start to just go ahead and jump off.”
Roze said the ride only lasted two minutes until she pulled up to a gas station, and no one was hurt during the ride.
“Lasting Impressions Salon Suites operates with integrity and professionalism,” salon owner Talisha Washington said in a statement. “We do not partake in any negative activity, and our brand is dedicated to helping business owners grow in a professional manner. The situation regarding the tenant has been addressed and resolved appropriately. We remain committed to providing a positive and professional environment for all business owners.”
WKRG News 5 also heard from the hairstylist, but she didn’t want to get on camera. She said she called the police while on top of the car and didn’t want to press charges against Roze.
