Rockford rejects proposed 20 mph speed zone at Guilford High School

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — A proposal to create a 20 mph speed zone near Guilford High School has been struck down by Rockford City Council.

On Tuesday, councilmembers rejected a plan that would have limited drivers to 20 mph in a current 45 mph stretch of Spring Creek Road and part of Mulford Road.
