Nicholls and LSU announce series schedule changes after postponement of Wednesday’s game

THIBODAUX, La. — Nicholls and LSU were scheduled to play an in-state contest Wednesday night in Thibodaux but weather and field conditions forced the two programs to postpone the matchup.

The postponement forced the Tigers and Colonels to alter their regular season series and announce the following changes:

LSU and Nicholls were originally scheduled to play tonight at Ray E. Didier Field and on April 8th at Alex Box Stadium.

Now, LSU will host Nicholls on Monday, February 24th at Alex Box Stadium and the Tigers will travel to Thibodaux to face the Colonels on Tuesday, April 8th.

The first pitch for both games is set for 6 p.m.

Nicholls returns to action Friday for the start of their three-game series against Little Rock while LSU welcomes Omaha to Alex Box Stadium for a three-game series.
