LAPLACE, La. (WGNO) — When you drop in to this Louisiana drive in, better buckle up for a trip that takes you half way to Heaven.
As the big mug turns above Frostop in LaPlace, the story also turns.
After almost 70 years of serving big burgers and even bigger onion rings, WGNO Good Morning New Orleans features reporter Bill Wood orders up what’s new on the menu.
Just in time for Carnival Season, it’s the King Cake Shake.
A miracle of a Mardi Gras moment.
The brains behind the shake is Terry Toler. She’s third-generation owner at Frostop.
She’ll tell you the secret to her sauce is cinnamon along with sprinkles of Mardi Gras sugar on top.
Leave it to Louisiana to shake it up.
