By rssfeeds-admin HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — In the midst of severe weather, Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear has signed an executive order allowing pharmacists to dispense emergency 30-day refills for any non-controlled medication.
The order was signed on Sunday after Governor Beshear addressed the public regarding severe weather, which now has an updated death toll of 14 people killed due to flooding.
Healthcare program, TRICARE, has announced their authorization plan for the prescription refills for Kentuckians.
Officials say all recipients need to do is take their prescription bottle to any TRICARE retail network pharmacy to receive an emergency refill.
