On arrival, deputies found the victim lying by her vehicle with a gunshot wound. She was taken to a local hospital and listed under stable condition.
A 16-year-old was identified as the alleged shooter by the STPSO. He was arrested and booked into the Florida Parishes Juvenile Detention Center on charges of attempted second-degree murder, obstruction of justice and being a minor in possession of a firearm.
