The Wilmington Fire Department said the structural collapse occurred at 11:30 a.m. on February 17 on 900 North Orange Street.
Several structures on the 100 block of West 9th Street sustained heavy structural damage.
The fire department also says the collapse caused a gas leak on the roof of one of the buildings which resulted in a small fire that was quickly extinguished.
The Department of Licenses and Inspections were marked as condemned due to their immediate hazard. Gas, electric, and water services have all been disconnected.
At this time it is not known what caused the collapse.
