Dorian “Cuddie” Casto’s Sum Slight, Single’s Night at Tioga Sequoia offered patrons a chance to meet someone new, or make new memories with old friends on Saturday, Feb. 15.
Attendees were asked, “single or taken?” At the front gate, they were either given a blue name tag inviting other singles to spark a conversation or a gold name tag letting everyone know they were at Tioga Sequoia for the other attractions.
The Sum Slight, Single’s Night brought food trucks and a collection of low-riders to the beer garden for singles and couples to enjoy – as well as coloring books for children (and anyone getting in touch with their inner child).
“We wanted to create a place where we come and come and just be grown kids, play feel-good music and be family-friendly – and bring some of that low rider culture to Downtown,” Cuddie said.
After three years, Cuddie says he’s grateful to Tioga Sequoia and hopes more families will take the opportunity to relax and enjoy themselves at Sum Slight’s next event.
