EVSC students return home following charter bus crash

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — Officials with the Evansville-Vanderburgh School Corporation say all the students involved in a charter bus accident in Louisville on Sunday have returned home.

This is according to EVSC communications officer, Jason Woebkenberg, who tells us this trip involved students from the honor band, orchestra and choir who were traveling to Ohio State University for a musical event.

He says four students and a director were sent to a nearby hospital following the crash.

“All honors band, orchestra and choir students returned home yesterday afternoon,” says Woebkenberg. “Individuals who were sent to the Louisville area hospital were all released and sent home yesterday.”
