MONROE TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WBRE/WYOU) — State troopers are investigating after they say someone stole high-end sunglasses and replaced them with knock-offs Thursday in Snyder County.
The theft, involving $1,500 in merchandise, happened at LensCrafters in the Monroe Marketplace near Shamokin Dam.
Troopers said the suspect removed four pairs of high-end sunglasses and replaced three of them with ‘inexpensive knock-offs.’
Authorities say the value of the stolen items surpassed $1,500.
Troopers say they are looking for a person wearing a dark-colored jacket and gray sweatpants who left the scene in a dark-colored mid-size SUV.
