A man injured in a motorcycle accident last weekend in Stone County has succumbed to his injuries. Seventy-year-old Rickey Reeves of Batesville was pronounced dead on Friday.
According to the Arkansas State Police, Reeves was traveling Feb. 8 on Arkansas Highway 14 in Pleasant Grove. His motorcycle reportedly crossed the center line, exited the roadway, struck a culvert sign and overturned. Reeves was ejected from the motorcycle. He was later transported to White River Health in Batesville.
The road was dry, and the weather was clear at the time of the 3:34 p.m. accident.
