YOSEMITE, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Multiple campgrounds in Yosemite will be unavailable for a one-month period during the park’s peak camping season.
National park staff say the Upper Pines, Lower Pines, North Pines, Wawona, and Hodgdon Meadow campgrounds will be the ones temporarily closed for reservations.
Reservations for the five campgrounds will be unavailable between June 15 and July 14.
The park says its goal is to release these campground nights as soon as possible.
Staff add that they will provide at least a seven-day advance notice that will be posted on the park’s website and social media feeds before reservations go on sale.
