High water shuts down roads in Kentucky
HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — Due to reported high water in the Tri-State from the weekend’s heavy rainfall, crews are working to get roads reopened.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announced northbound I-69 at the 87 mm has been shut down to one lane due to a rock slide.
Officials say the following roads have also been blocked or are impassable by high water:
Daviess County:
KY 54 blocked by high water in the 7400 block KY 81 blocked in the 8800-9600 block (intersections of KY 1207, Vanover Road) KY 142 in the 4500-4600 block (between Old HWY 54 and Ware Road intersections) KY 298 blocked by high water between the 2-3 mile points KY 762 blocked by high water between the 0-1 mile KY 764 blocked by high water between the 1.2-1.3 mile points KY 2127 blocked by high water between the 0-1.3 and 3.7-6.7 mile points Hancock County :
KY 1265 blocked by high water between the 4-5 mile points KY 2181 is blocked by high water between the 4-5 mile points Henderson County :
KY 268 blocked by high water between the 7-7.8 mile points KY 812 us blocked by high water between the 4-5 mile points KY 1557 is blocked by high water between the 2-3 mile points KY 2247 is blocked by high water between the 0-1 mile points Hopkins County:
U.S. 41A blocked by high water between the 12-13 mile markers U.S. 62 blocked by high water between the 16-17 mile point Muhlenberg County:

West Kentucky Parkway has a lane restriction at the 7 and 8 mile points Union County :
