ChiChi co-founder discusses the new product coming to shelves in Chicago

CHICAGO — After plenty of trial and error, Chiara and Izzy found that chickpeas were the perfect base for a high-protein hot cereal.

Their college project sold out at farmer’s markets and ChiChi cereal will soon reach grocery stores in the Chicagoland area.

Chiara Munzi, co-founder of ChiChi, joined WGN News on Saturday morning to discuss the new product coming to local shelves.

Visit ChiChi’s website or follow them on TikTok or Instagram for more information on the cereal or to purchase a bag.
