David Hart, 45, was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service in Plaquemines Parish and charged with criminal damage to property by defacing with graffiti. Authorities say additional charges may be filed in other jurisdictions.
Hart’s arrest follows the arrest of Robert Hebert II, 42, who was also charged with criminal damage to property.
The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office (LPSO) said the case involves dozens of Ziplock bags containing flyers and corn kernels left in driveways, along with damaged signs in Walker.
According to Sheriff Jason Ard, the flyers contained crime statistics and content aimed at specific groups of people.
LPSO is asking anyone who has received one of the flyers to call 225-686-2241 (ext. 1) or submit a tip through the LPSO app.
