OHIO COUNTY, Ky. (WEHT) — The search for a killer continues as an elderly woman is laid to rest one week after authorities say she was murdered in her own home.
Local, state and federal authorities are investigating what was called a “home invasion gone wrong.”
On Wednesday afternoon, the community remembered the life of Norma June Greenwell at a ceremony in Beaver Dam.
According to her obituary, the 81-year-old great grandmother was an Avon representative, church member and worked with various 4H groups.
Investigators say Greenwell lived alone.
No arrests have been made in the case and anyone with information is asked to call the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office.
