Paul Hanson, president and CEO of Sanford Health’s Sioux Falls region, has stepped down.
Hanson has served in his role since 2013.
Employees were notified today that Hanson had departed “to pursue his next professional chapter.”
Andy Munce, current COO of the Sioux Falls region, has become interim president and CEO.
“Paul has been a great asset to Sanford Health since joining our organization more than 15 years ago,” said Matt Hocks, executive vice president and COO of Sanford Health, in a statement.
“I want to thank Paul for his dedication to our patients and people in Sioux Falls – the region is stronger thanks to his leadership. Paul has always been generous with his time in support of this community as well, serving as a past chair of the board of directors for the Greater Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce. We are grateful for Paul’s contributions and leadership and wish him well in his next chapter.”
Hanson served as chair of the Greater Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce for a one-year term beginning in late 2022.
