Police chase ends with crash and 2 arrests in Englewood, CPD says

CHICAGO — Two suspects are in custody after a police chase Tuesday afternoon on Chicago’s South Side.

According to police, just before 1:40 p.m., officers responded to a call of a person with a gun inside a Chevy Malibu near 42nd and Wentworth. 

The driver took off and eventually crashed into an apartment building in the 6700 block of S. Parnell in Englewood.

SkyCam9 flew overheard as officers caught up with the suspects as they ran into that building. 

According to police, officers also recovered a handgun at the scene.

There is no word on any injuries
