Officials investigate after crash on US 190 near Port Allen leaves one dead
BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — One person is dead after a crash on the Old Mississippi River Bridge Thursday evening.
Louisiana State Police said the westbound lanes of US Hwy 190 were closed and motorists should expect delays.
The East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner’s Office said it responded to the crash and the identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin has been notified.
