No. 9 Tatum girls basketball takes down no. 4 Hooks

PITTSBURG, TX (KTAL/KMSS) — On Thursday, no. 9 Tatum and no. 4 Hooks girls basketball teams faced off in the area round of the playoffs. Tatum pulled off the upset, advancing to the next round with a 55-45 victory.

It was a close game all throughout the first half, but in the second half Tatum caught momentum and kept it rolling.

Leading scorers Hooks were DD Johnson with 17, Diana Hernandez with eight points, and Katie Arnold with six.
