New Mexico man arrested after Livingston Parish child porn investigation

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A multi-agency investigation that started with a tip from the National Center for Missing/Exploited Children ended with the arrest of a man from New Mexico.

Kyle Hatch, 38, was charged with three counts of indecent behavior with juveniles, three counts of pornography involving juveniles under the age of 13 (Distribution) and two counts of computer-aided solicitation of minor.

The tip centered around possession of pornography involving juveniles and indecent behavior with juveniles. As the investigation unfolded, detectives were able to pinpoint Hatch as the social media platform account holder, LPSO said.

After being identified as a suspect, Hatch was taken into custody by the Los Alamos Police Department. He was extradited to Louisiana and booked into jail. Hatch’s bond was set at $500,000.

The investigation remains ongoing. The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and Louisiana Bureau of Investigation/Attorney General’s Office are conducting the investigation.
