Valantis Labs was established in 2023 as an independent entity after originating as a project within blockchain research and engineering firm Nethermind. The team, led by co-founders Deven Matthews and Eduardo Carvalho, brings extensive experience in decentralized finance (DeFi) and blockchain development. Deven, a former Chief Strategy Officer at Nethermind, played a key role in conceptualizing Valantis’ modular approach.
