This week, they are holding an open house in Bossier City.
On Thursday, February 13, locals can speak directly to state troopers in person. The troopers will share insight into the hiring process, break down opportunities, and answer any additional questions you might have.
“If they have a passion to serve their community, serve the state of Louisiana, and be a part of something big– bigger than all of us– don’t let any hesitations come about,” Trooper Eddie Thomas, troop G, told KTAL. “Come see us, and we’ll answer all those questions and put their minds at ease about anything, so that they can get their journey started.”
Attendees can even apply for a job on the spot. Therefore, Trooper Thomas reminds those who would like to attend to bring their driver’s license or ID as well.
The open house will be from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at 5300 Industrial Drive.
