According to an arrest warrant, Josh Johnson, 39, of Grethel, gave a child at a school a package of earrings with eight “suboxone buprenorphine hydrochloride pills.”
Johnson is charged with third-degree drug trafficking, trafficking within 1,000 feet of a school and first-degree unlawful transaction with a minor involving an illegal controlled substance, according to a citation.
Johnson was arraigned on the charges Monday. Floyd District Judge Tyler Green set a $50,000 cash bond in the case.
In the event Johnson makes bond, the judge also ordered him to have no contact with minor children and he will not be allowed on school property.
