Authorities have released the name of a man fatally struck by a train in West Plains. According to the Howell County Sheriff’s Office, 49-year-old Charles Lightfoot Jr. of West Plains was hit after noon on Monday near Missouri Route ZZ and County Road 8240. The sheriff’s office released Lightfoot’s identity at 12:30 Tuesday afternoon.
