Kevin Little has been doing BMX for at least 20 years. He grew up riding with his brother and it’s a love that’s lasted into adulthood. Little says he always wanted to be like Evil Knievel, but his dad wouldn’t let him own a motorcycle, so he settled for BMX.
The City Walk Skate Park says on any given day, around 100 people will come out to use the space. Little says a skate park like the one at City Walk is something he and his brother have been looking for since childhood.
“Any park we’ve ever had is something we’ve built, you know, underneath bridges and in not-so-nice areas, anywhere that people would just leave us alone,” said Little. “Here it’s just, you’ve got a fenced in area, everything is super nice and clean.”
Events are hosted at City Walk BHAM throughout the week. You can find a full calendar of events HERE.
