1 killed, 3 critical after Metra train collides with SUV

CHICAGO — One person was killed and three others critically injured early Wednesday morning when a Metra train collided with a vehicle on Chicago’s South Side.

According to Metra, the collision occurred near East 87th and Baltimore in the South Chicago neighborhood around midnight.

The victims were inside the vehicle.

It’s unknown at this time how many people were on the train at the time.
