VIDEO: Oregon Zoo animals have a ball in winter snow

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – As the first snowfall of a major weather event began in Portland Thursday, certain furry friends were out living their best life.

At the Oregon Zoo, Polar bear sisters Nora and Amelia Gray — whose species thrive in the temperatures of the Arctic — playfully tackled each other as the snow fell in their habitat.

Others who felt particularly comfortable in this chilly weather were river otters and harbor seals, who enjoyed a little romp and roll at the zoo’s Steller Cove.
