Coming to the dome in October are “Gypsy” singer Stevie Nicks and “Piano Man” star Billy Joel.
In a recent news conference, Voice of the Dome Mike Hoss said that the Superdome has become one of the most iconic venues in the country if not the world not only for football but important social, cultural and musical events.
“It is the combination of our city, our people, our music, that we continue to be able to welcome iconic artists to Caesars Superdome year after year,” said Hoss.
Stevie Nicks is set to head out on tour with her first stop being Detroit Michigan on March 29. She will then head to New Jersey in August before making her way to New Orleans on Saturday, Oct. 18.
Billy Joel is currently touring the world with sold-out shows in New York, Wisconsin, Liverpool, New Jersey and many others.
“With Billy Joel and Stevie Nicks, we believe we have one of the most attractive performing artists that you could hope for in a city that we know has wrapped our arms around both artists and to have them together. We are looking forward to a very exciting Saturday,” said Evan Holmes, general manager of Caesars Superdome and ASM Legends.
