
The book entails memories and stories of his experience as a Black man living in America, sharing his personal thoughts and feelings to open a shared conversation toward racial reconciliation.
“The only way that we’re going to grow as a culture, nation, and world is if we come together. Just like what we were doing tonight, and sit down at the table and share life with each other.” Dr. Moore said.




Dr. Moore has previously been published in collective works alongside other authors and has published a few of his children’s stories. The Horizon Never Forgets is his first published collection containing only his writings.
“Literature invites people to sit down and understand humanity even more. The triumphs, the joys, but also the heartaches, and the pain.” Said Moore.
From recollections of his mother’s voice and grade-school memories of prejudice to the frustration of navigating, at times, a divided nation as a Black man, this latest publication contains his insightful musings and observations, artfully captured in poetic form.

His book The Horizon Never Forgets and personalized signatures were available for purchase to attendees of the Wednesday night reading. It will be officially debuted for public purchase next month on Sunday, March 23, at the Seven and One book store in Abilene, beginning at 4 p.m.
