Summary: Dejavu, as we pick up where we left off yesterday. Not much change in the forecast as a cold front and warm front battle out across central west Texas. Temperatures struggle to reach the 50° mark through most of the region. However, tonight a warm front pushes north with some brief clearing by tomorrow which will increase temperatures briefly before a stronger front knocks overnight lows below freezing with our inhouse model denoting a chance for some freezing rain. We warm up heading into the Valentine’s day weekend with a buy one, get one cold front knocking temperatures back down below freezing by Sunday.
Today: Overcast skies with mist and drizzle on and off throughout the day with patchy fog burning off through mid afternoon. High Temperature: 45° Winds: NE 5-10 MPH
Tonight: Cloudy skies with isolated thunderstorms with some brief heavy rainfall, small hail and lightning as the main concerns. Low Temperature: 41° Winds: ENE>S 5-10 MPH
