Driver killed after 18-wheeler overturns in Brown County

BROWN COUNTY, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – A driver was killed after an 18-wheeler overturned in Brown County early Monday morning.

Aldo Ray McMahon, 68, of Houston, Texas, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on FM 45 near mile marker 346 just before 8:00 a.m., according to a press release from the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The press release states McMahon was traveling west down the highway when he failed to negotiate a curve at an unsafe speed and overturned due to the wet road conditions.

No one else was involved in this fatal crash, and no further information is available at this time.
