Visalia pursuit ends in drug bust, CHP says

VISALIA, Calif. (KGPE/KSEE) – A loaded gun and drugs were seized after an alleged DUI driver led the Visalia area California Highway Patrol on a pursuit, officers said on Friday.

CHP says a pursuit ensued after they initiated a traffic stop on Highway 198. They were eventually able to stop the driver in the City of Visalia.

According to officers, the driver was determined to be both under the influence and on probation. He was allegedly found with various drugs, a loaded handgun, and several items indicating drug sales.
