The Tate County Coroner confirmed with WREG that the murder-suicide happened at 241 Cowtown Road. Detectives have not identified the victims, because the case remains under investigation.
Documents show a married couple lived in that home, but investigators have not confirmed if they were still residents or if they’re the victims in this incident.
On Thursday, Senatobia Police responded to a domestic disturbance call at a residence on Cowtown Road. When investigators entered the home, a man and woman were found inside with fatal gunshot wounds.
Police say one of the wounds appeared to be self-inflicted, but they have not specified which person fired the weapon.
Information we uncovered shows a couple lived at the residence. According to paperwork, the couple married in March of 2018 and had a daughter the following year.
However, documents show the woman separated from her husband and no longer lived with him in July of 2021.
On August 10th of that year, she filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.
A few months later, in March of 2022, a judge granted the woman’s request to dismiss the divorce filing.
