Boil water notice issued for City of Mendenhall

MENDENHALL, Miss. (WJTV) – A boil water notice has been issued systemwide for the City of Mendenhall.

Officials with the Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH) said the notice affects 1,000 connections. The notice was issued due to a line break.

Health officials recommend that all water be boiled vigorously for one minute before it is consumed. The water system will be notified when tests show that the water is safe to drink.

For more information, customers may contact their water system at 601-847-1212.
