The event will feature four presentations by three speakers. The seminar will open and close with speaker Brie Arthur, a bestselling author and international horticulture speaker, who will present on the art of cottage gardening and mastering critter control.
Master gardeners Ceil Gasecki and Tommy Hagan say Arthur’s extensive knowledge of gardening and her boundless energy made such an impression on them, knew they had to invite her to present on two topics.

Jon Streu, a retired plant nursery owner and succulent expert, will present on the care and feeding of a succulent. Hagan and Gasecki say Streu’s presentation will be entertaining and informative.

Sherri Sanders, the White County Extension Agent for Agriculture, will present on cool weather vegetables. Gasecki says the presentation will show that gardening doesn’t stop in the fall.

Along with the featured speakers, the seminar will include a horticulture table, MG project displays and multiple silent auctions of garden-themed items. Snacks and drinks will be provided throughout the day.
The seminar will cost $35 and includes lunch catered by Whispering Woods. Seating is limited and registration is open.
