Registration open for annual Master Gardeners seminar “Developing an Ozarks Green Thumb”

As winter nears its end, many in the Twin Lakes Area are preparing for the start of gardening season. In preparation for the spring, The Baxter County Master Gardeners and the University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture will hold their annual Developing an Ozarks Green Thumb seminar March 8 from 9 to 3 at the First Baptist Church, Christian Life Center.

The event will feature four presentations by three speakers. The seminar will open and close with speaker Brie Arthur, a bestselling author and international horticulture speaker, who will present on the art of cottage gardening and mastering critter control.

Master gardeners Ceil Gasecki and Tommy Hagan say Arthur’s extensive knowledge of gardening and her boundless energy made such an impression on them, knew they had to invite her to present on two topics.
