JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – The Hinds County Board of Supervisors approved a plan to add new security measures to parts of South Jackson and Raymond.
Security cameras will be placed in various parts of District 4 to deter criminal activity and other issues, including illegal dumping and accidents.
“We have the cameras coming up. We have ‘No Dumping’ signs coming up, and we have also cameras going into Raymond where they’re doing all the illegal dumping. The cameras should be start being put up in March,” said Supervisor Wanda Evers, District 4.
Those who are caught on camera doing illegal activities will be penalized.
