Crime Reports: Police say woman arrested for eating groceries in Abilene store without paying

A woman reported being slapped by a guest during an argument at her home.

5700 block of Hawk Circle – Assualt Family Violence
The victim reported that they were assaulted but did not want to press charges. The suspect was transported to the Taylor County Jail and booked without incident.

3600 block of Radcliff Road – Fraud Use/Possession of Identifying Info

1300 block of Hollis Drive – Burglary of Habitation
A southside home was broken into, where money was stolen from the kitchen.

4300 block of Caldwell Road – Credit Card or Debit Card Abuse
A victim reported that a known person used his card to make charges on his account.

4200 block of Oil Belt Lane – Theft of Property
A report was generated for the theft and exploitation of an elderly person at a South Abilene location.

3500 block of Cedar Run Road – Assault Family Violence
A woman claimed her 46-year-old roommate/friend assaulted her at a southside apartment.

2600 block of Robertson Drive – Assault Family Violence
A woman was arrested for assault against another woman. The victim is willing to press charges.

1400 block of Yeomans Road – Assault
Officers were dispatched to an assault report on the south side of Abilene involving an unknown suspect.

1300 block of South Clack Street – Theft of Motor Vehicle
An Abilene resident reported that his vehicle was stolen from a local dealership.

3200 block of South 14th Street – Burglary of Building
A southside business reported that an unknown individual entered their storage shed and stole a light fixture valued at approximately $100. This was captured on video, and an investigation is currently underway.

900 block of North Willis Street – Theft of Property
Police report that a woman entered a grocery store on the north side and began eating products without paying for them. She was arrested for theft.

300 block of Palm Street – Assault Family Violence/Impede Breath

4500 block of South 1st Street – Theft of Firearm
An Abilene resident reported that her firearm went missing and did not know if it was stolen or not.

400 block of Willow Street – Criminal Trespass

200 Block of Arnold Boulevard – Assault
APD responded to a disturbance at a home on the southside. The victim wishes to press charges, and an assault report was filed.

4200 block of North 1st Street – Assault Family Violence
A report was taken after a victim claimed her boyfriend assaulted her at a Northside club.

1700 block of South 5th Street – Burglary of Habitation
A man reported that a possible known person unlawfully entered one of his rental properties that is being renovated and stole power tools and a roll of copper electrical wire valued at $590.

2700 block of Southwest Drive – Violation of Bond/Protective Order
Police report that a man was found to be in violation of bond conditions at this location.

1900 block of Merchant Street – Criminal Trespass
A 26-year-old was arrested for criminal trespass at a Northside residence.

4300 block of State Street – Robbery
Police responded to a northside address in reference to a disturbance. A 39-year-old woman was arrested for robbery and interference with an emergency call.

2800 block of South 25th Street – Burglary of Habitation
A victim reported that an unknown person stole compact discs, computer equipment, and office equipment from his home.

600 block of Locust Street – Burglary of Building
A report was taken for burglary of a building.

1300 block of Fannin Street – Burglary of Vehicle
A report was filed with the police regarding $550 worth of belongings that were stolen from a vehicle.

3100 block of Over Street – Theft of Property
A report was filed for the theft of a Kindle Scribe valued at $430.
