Huron man knocked out with beer bottle, suspect sought

HURON, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Huron police are searching for a suspect accused of knocking out a man with a 40-ounce beer bottle Saturday evening.

Police say they responded to a home in the 16600 block of 4th Street just after 5 p.m. regarding a disturbance.

Officers report a man was involved in an argument with another man when he was struck on the side of his face with a 40-ounce glass bottle of Corona. The victim sustained a deep laceration to his face and was rendered unconscious.

Investigators say the suspect fled the scene in a gray sedan that is possibly an older model Honda Civic.

Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to contact Sergeant Esteban Lopez at 559-945-2046.
