1 injured in Monday night shooting in North Abilene

At approximately 8:55 p.m. on January 27, police responded to the 700 block of North Willis Street following reports of a weapon being discharged.

One neighbor at the scene told our reporter they heard five shots fired, while another claimed a woman was injured. Police have confirmed that one person sustained a gunshot wound and was transported to the hospital. Their condition is unknown at this time.
