Wake-Up Weather: Just checked…. YUP it’s still COLD outside

Summary: Yeah, I just checked and it’s still freezing cold outside this morning. Later this afternoon you should expect sunny skies with a few upper level clouds to increase and push down south before dissipating as a high pressure system moves in. Radiational cooling which is just a fancy way to say the atmosphere will cool easier, meaning one thing: another hard freeze. Make sure to protect the 4 p’s along the way. Just one more night before those lows push above freezing overnight thanks to a warming trend through Saturday before a cold front brings us back to a winter-like reality. Heading into next week we are watching an upper-level low that will bring in a chance for showers! Stay tuned!
