Summary: Temperatures are still drastically cold in a few of our northern counties following a surface front that passed through this morning. A party taking place this morning but towards the Gulf coast. In fact, so much so that even a blizzard warning for portions of Texas and Louisiana. Luckily for us only those in Mills county cashed in on those snow chances , while the dry air held back and evaporated the snow before reaching the ground here. Amarillo has a rare snow squall that brought a quick 0.50″ of snow with limited visibility. Today expect clearing skies with a slight breeze and a gradual increase in temperatures with a few cold front that will drop temperatures slightly. Still expected to see some hard freezes overnight in store through the week.
