Officials with Con Azucar Café announced the store’s soft opening Tuesday. Within their menu, consumers will not only find coffee, tea, and sandwiches, but also their signature oversized concha bread.
According to its website, Con Azucar Café was an idea born within a group of friends who wanted to fuse the flavors found in the Mexican culture with the coffee industry in the United States. They say they wanted to “create something unique and authentic” that would attract people’s interest in the Mexican culture.
The store is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. They can be found inside of La Michoacana Plus store at 4785 Cesar Chavez Blvd.
This would be the Con Azucar Café’s second location in the Central Valley, with their first one located in Bakersfield.
A date for a grand opening ceremony has not been announced.
