Abilene Public Library to give away tree saplings for Earth Day, registration open now

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – The Abilene Public Library is preparing to give out tree saplings for Earth Day, inspiring the next generation to make the world greener.

You can register your child online from now until March 15.

The tree sapling pickup will take place from April 22 to 27 at the South Branch Library, located at 4310 Buffalo Gap Road.

This collaboration is made possible through the Abilene Public Library and the Neighborhood Forest program, which provides free trees to more than 2,000 schools, libraries, and organizations across America.
