According to police, on Friday, Nov. 15, 2024, officers responded to the Noble Federal Credit Union at 2440 Tulare St. regarding a bank robbery.
Police say an unknown suspect entered the location, approached a teller and advised them that they were armed. The suspect then handed the teller a handwritten note, demanding money from the register.
The teller provided the suspect with approximately $1,000 in small bills and the suspect left the location on a bicycle, according to police.
Police say detectives were able to obtain video from the bank and surrounding areas and were able to put out a description to officers.
According to police, on Jan. 5, an officer observed a female matching the description. She was positively identified as the suspect responsible for the bank robbery and an arrest warrant was obtained.
Police say on Jan. 7, detectives responded to a residence in the area of Blackstone Avenue and Ashlan Avenue and took the woman into custody. A search of her room was conducted and detectives say they located a bag believed to be the one she used during the robbery.
She was then arrested and booked into the Fresno County Jail, per officials.
