Construction updates around the Big Country

Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) released the updates on the roads they are still working on:

• Stonewall County FM 1263, between mile markers 242-244, has temporary signage with crews performing ditch maintenance. The temporary signage will direct traffic through the work zone.
• FM 89 (Buffalo Gap Road) is undergoing striping operations from Danville and past the Chimney Rock intersection. TxDOT reported that a contractor will conduct a traffic switch on FM 89 south of Rebecca Lane.
• Mitchell County maintenance crews are going to Interstate 20 at mile marker 214 to remove hay bales from the roadway.

TxDOT requests people who pass by the crews working to reduce their speed and watch for crewmen and equipment.
