Motorcyclist dies crashing into tree south of Fowler

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A man is dead after colliding with a tree amid a suspected medical episode Saturday afternoon in Fresno County, the California Highway Patrol announced.

CHP says around 3 p.m. they responded to a report of a solo collision into a tree near Dinuba and Fowler avenues south of Fowler.

Investigators determined a man in his 60s was traveling eastbound on Dinuba Avenue west of Fowler Avenue when he veered to the right and collided directly into a tree.

Officers say the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

CHP suspects the collision might have been caused by a medical emergency the rider was experiencing, however, the coroner is working to confirm details.
