Braum’s opens the first of three stores in Abilene

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – The anticipation is over, and Braum’s Ice Cream & Dairy Store will finally open its first store in the Big Country.

The ice cream store will open its first location in Abilene on Tuesday, January 14, at 6:00 a.m. at 1327 N. Judge Boulevard.

Braum’s first building has over 6,000 square feet, featuring a large fresh market area and seating around 80 guests with double drive-thru lanes.

“2025 is off to a wonderful start, and being able to open our first location in Abilene to kick off the new year makes it even sweeter,” said President and CEO Drew Braum.

The store will have a grand opening celebration week on Monday, January 27, until Sunday, February 2. A news release stated that customers visiting the store during the grand opening week would receive scratch-to-win cards that reveal prizes. The prices include a $100 Braum’s gift card, wireless headphones, a laptop, and free Braum’s food and merchandise.
