We recently received an email about two brothers named August, age 6, and Connor, age 12. It said:
Christmas has become a time to honor the memory of August and Connor’s older brother, who we tragically lost almost five years ago.
In his memory, every Christmas, the brothers run a “toy store” where they sell toys they and their mom have purchased at discounted prices. They then mark them up slightly to earn money. The goal is to use the funds they raise to perform random acts of kindness, such as paying for people’s meals, leaving large tips for waitstaff, or other generous gestures, all in honor of their older brother. They do this on his birthday and the anniversary of his passing.
We decided to surprise Connor and August for Feel Good Friday. Check out the video in the player above!
